Pushing extreme cold-weather-oriented design, I am carving a new design language for cold-weather fashion. My love for design is nurtured by practicing detail-oriented pattern-making and experimenting with the relationship material has with the body. I focus my creative energy on cold-weather-proof material and construction to create new branches of self and concept expression beyond traditional fashion spaces. This lends itself to new areas of thought and fashion, as well as bridging fashion back to its original idea of decorating the body first then protecting it. I have developed my design language through themes of equity, protecting the human body from harsh weather, and intricate patterning techniques. These fuel my love for creating clothes that aim to promote movement and fun for everybody. I am influenced artistically by Ralph Steadman, Norma Kamali, Burton, Sinead O'dwyer, Chika Miyata, NASA, Joan Didion, and Sonia Rykiel. I am personally motivated by an innate desire to outwit bone-breaking cold to keep warm and making my Slavic family proud.
